The student can assess the nutritional needs, calorie requirement of different age groups and during various disease conditions.
The students are taught to plan the menu scientifically, based on the calorific value of the food materials.
The nutrition lab is equipped with facilities of cooling storage & preservation of food and demonstration of diet preparation based on nutritional needs of people the students practice under the guidance of qualified teachers.
